The Opportunity
As the Brand Manager BeNeLux you are responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic and product-specific marketing plans in collaboration with other relevant personnel. Your goal is to achieve both long-term and short-term agreed business objectives, including sales and profitability targets, in alignment with the overarching brand strategy.

Key Activities for this role:
- Coordinate, co-create, and co-execute the local operational brand plan for BENELUX for a new non-hormonal treatment targeting women experiencing hot flashes and night sweats associated with menopause.
- Drive the development and implementation of both common and country-specific marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with Global, Mid-Size Markets (MSM), and the BNL Head of Business Unit Specialty.
- Shared Co-Leadership of brand team with Medical Manager, collaborate and coordinate with the Customer & Patient Activation Manager and the Commercial Strategy & Operations (CS&O) team on omnichannel (OC) customer journey projects. Oversee the execution of OC campaigns, manage KPI definition and track their impact,
- Represent Astellas’ s mission at external events and engage with key local customers and Key Experts (KEEs), identifying their needs, and developing effective services to address them.
- Demonstrate a commitment to growth by embodying the three core principles: Outcome focus over task orientation, Act with urgency over waiting, Enterprise thinking over functional thinking.
- Foster a culture of ethics and compliance by promoting “Integrity in Action” and proactively addressing any instances of non-compliance.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Extensive experience in contributing to the development and execution of brand strategy, delivering outstanding results versus budget, with strong expertise in forecasting and setting ambitious KPIs.
- Established track record in the planning, measurement, and revenue growth of omnichannel stakeholder journey projects.
- Excellent understanding of omnichannel engagement leveraging digital opportunities while fostering customer engagement.
- Experience of implementing co-created patient centric integrated services, solutions, and programs.
- Clear understanding in co creation with headquarters and local brand team.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in product management using both push and pull strategies, focusing on activating the patient's voice in disease management within specific regulatory frameworks.
- Understanding of industry, regulatory, and compliance requirements in BNL.
- Established trust and relevant networks within women’s health; experience in gynaecology is an asset.
- Master’s degree in science or marketing/business with high interest in science.
Educations/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a science related field or equivalent.
Additional information:
- This is a permanent full-time position.
- This position is based in Belgium or in the Netherlands.
- Fluent in written and spoken business English and Dutch or French.
- This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 2 days per week in the Belgium or Netherlands office. Flexibility may be required in line with business need. Candidate must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
