The Opportunity:

Due to maternity leave, a 12-month, fixed term contract leadership commercial role has become live. Your role will be to lead the Commercial Oncology brand in development and execution of the local brand strategy. This is a unique position within our business unit of Oncology and is a leadership role. You will lead, coach and develop a high performing team to exceed performance expectations in line with affiliate and brand objectives and you will have two direct reports. Your role will report into the General Manager of Australia and will be part of the leadership team.

This role will be based in Sydney, New south Wales and will require you to be able to travel to this location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for maximizing Local Brand performance.
  • Co-own the development and implementation of the growth strategy plans.
  • Together with the core local brand team, be responsible for developing brand objectives and aligning individual function KPIs.
  • Manage progress on KPIs and underperformance, etc.
  • Align with the global brand strategy planning.
  • Provide leadership of the sales and marketing team and broader cross functional stakeholders to achieve financials targets, company scorecard, market access timelines and strategic deliverables.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experienced in working within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated experience and tenure within a commercial leadership role.
  • Be able to provide and demonstrate strong leadership skills.

Education:

  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or equivalent.

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time, 12-month, fixed-term contract.
  • Position is based in Australia.
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 2 days per week in our Sydney office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
