As the key Planning Lead for the Region, this is an exciting opportunity to influence business decisions at a Regional level and drive the performance of a dedicated regional team.

About This Job:

  • Ensuring that strategy and sales forecasts are linked, expenses are properly planned, P&Ls prepared, and actual performance correctly reported and commented.
  • You will bring transparency to performance of the region and ensures efficiency in allocation of resources to the business.
  • Planning lead for the region, providing financial decision support at regional level, ensuring that impacts of major risks and opportunities on P&L are understood. Develops and implements initiatives to optimize working capital.
  • Providing a consolidated viewpoint to regional senior leadership and Global Commercial Finance
  • Oversees a team providing analysis, decision support and driving the planning processes for the region.

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

  • Strong work experience in financial planning & budgeting gained in the Pharma industry
  • Proven experience of people management (will manage a team of up to 4)
  • Strong financial analysis skills coupled with ability to communicate meaning from data
  • Significant experience in planning/forecasting tools
  • Profound experience of SAP Hyperion and SAP BPC
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience
  • Excellent communication and business partnering skills
  • Working knowledge of accounting and internal control standards

Preferred knowledge & Experience:

  • The ability to attract and develop high performing staff
  • Other languages of key markets desirable
  • MBA and / or CPA and / or equivalent certificates


  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
  • MBA and/or CPA and/or equivalent certificates
