About this job:

The main role of the Governmental Affairs and Patient Advocacy Manager is to implement the annual Government Affairs plan aligned with the strategy and vision of the subsidiary and the Astellas Group.

As a Governmental Affairs and Patient Advocacy Manager you will:

  • Market Access plans / Brand plan: include a tactical public affairs plan on key issues in coordination with those departments/areas.
  • Co-build with the Governmental Affairs teams (Regional, Global) projects adapted to the needs of the French subsidiary.
  • Promulgate a Public Affairs culture within Astellas.
  • Be the primary contact for Patient Associations.
  • Develop collaboration with Patient Associations in connection with the Company's key therapeutic areas.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in the Public Affairs function.
  • Experience in a similar position in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Preferred Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications:
  • Work experience in transversal projects.
  • Knowledge in European Regulations for Pharmaceutical Industry.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bac+5 Political Sciences or Pharmacy, and Health Economics (master) is valued.
  • English and French language advanced level in speaking and writing.

Additional information:

  • Minimum travel is expected, mainly based in Astellas France HQ in Levallois-Perrier, Île-de-France.
