About this job:


Responsibilities:


  • Plan and in co-operation with the Line Manager with the aim to generate prescriptions, resulting in sales and profit.
  • Achieve sales budget within allocated costs
  • Implementation of the annual Implementation Plan as related to national accounts and key customer groups.
  • Understand, support and behave according to corporate vision, culture and core principles.

Duties:


  • Provide Sales Management with tactical/operational information to enhance the strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager, Business Unit team and cross functional, Sales Support Manager and the Sales representatives, to ensure a dynamic and efficient sales team.
  • Through the Line Manager, ensure a close co-operation with the H.Q. marketing and medical team within the therapeutic areas.
  • Execute planned visits.
  • Report qualitatively/quantitatively on all contacts.
  • As appropriate supply flexible cost forecasts for meetings and symposia attendances
  • Report on and justify costs made.
  • Report on competitive activities.
  • Analyse sales data.
  • Report on received ADE information (Adverse Drug Event).
  • Perform according to Astellas Business Procedures and SOPs.

Areas of responsibility:


  • Territory: Stockholm
  • Be accountable for sales results in defined district.
  • Selection and targeting of doctors, nurses and pharmacies.
  • Planning and organisation of calls/activities as defined in a continuously referenced District Plan.
  • Proper use of promotional material.
  • Properly representing the company’s standard.
  • Follow company standard operational procedures on adverse event reporting.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:


  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • Very good proven sales experience
  • High degree of interpersonal skills including presentation techniques and assertive communication skills.
  • Oncology Experience
  • Self-confident and innovative approach to competitors and colleagues 
  • Positive, responsible enthusiasm.
  • Attitude for structured work environment including setting own objectives and establishing processes how these can be achieved.
  • Creative, somewhat extrovert personality.
  • Good knowledge of ICT systems and appropriate software.
  • Ambitious, flexible team player.
  • Self-confident and innovative approach to competitors and colleagues.
  • Open to change.
  • Methodical work habits.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience:


  • Formal Education in a (para) medical science, market analysis or business administration.

Educations/Qualifications:


  • Qualified medical representative (LIF).
