The Opportunity:

As a Learning Management System (LMS) Specialist at Astellas Pharma, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our training and development initiatives. You will contribute to the strategic and operational direction of our LMS, ensuring that our learning solutions meet the needs of our Quality Assurance Division. Your work will directly impact the learner experience and help us achieve our mission to "Change Tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the LMS Business Partner for the Quality Assurance Division, ensuring optimal learner experiences.
  • Collaborate with Learning Designers and LMS Administrators to deploy online courses and training programs effectively.
  • Act as a consultant and subject matter expert on Astellas Learning Technology, advising on AI solutions to meet business learning goals.
  • Lead cross-functional business transformation projects to optimize learning delivery.
  • Drive initiatives related to the Quality Control of Learning Management System data.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Solid experience in managing and supporting a learning management system in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and organize workflows effectively.
  • Experience in strategic planning and learning management, with a focus on compliance and inspection readiness.
  • Excellent communication skills, fostering open dialogue with stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead without authority and drive results in a collaborative environment.
  • Fluent in written and spoken business English.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience:

  • Knowledge of AICC and SCORM standards.
  • Familiarity with SuccessFactors Learning and Talent Management Modules.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Training Management, Learning Technology, Information Technology, or a related area, or equivalent experience.

Additional information:

  • This is a permanent, full-time position.
  • This position is based in the Netherlands.
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 1 day per week in the Netherlands office. Flexibility may be required in line with business need. Candidate must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
