About this job:

Responsible for supporting the development, maintenance and improvement of operational excellence in PV Process business operations globally. The role will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence through the development, execution and oversight of business change initiatives with an application component. The position will establish methodologies to ensure consistent implementation and that tools are in place for optimal job performance aligned with operational excellence strategies.

This role is supporting PV Process decisions regarding system integration requirements, bringing visibility to operational activities and effectiveness (metrics and analytics) and cross-functional process improvement with the objective of streamlining the PV Process system landscape and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of safety information.

Amongst the main responsibilities for this role are the following:

  • Drives process efficiency by supporting implementation of electronic and digital capabilities where possible including PV Process change management/control towards electronic and digital transactions
  • Enables compliance in processes and systems with both internal and external procedure and guidelines/legislation
  • Supports new/major system implementations and ongoing process improvement opportunities in steady state.
  • Is a key contributor to cross-functional projects where IT systems or changes thereof are implemented.
  • Works with PV Business SMEs as well as PVIM colleagues in the definition URS for new implementation projects
  • Responsible for configuration maintenance of all PV Process bots.
  • Supports business testing of configuration concepts prior to generating change requests.
  • Performs business process validation testing.
  • Cooperates with PVIM in the analysis of change requests, as well as in the determination of regulatory and business needs, jointly determining the usefulness and feasibility of implementation.
  • Reviews process changes in PV Process for technical impact and regulatory compliance prior to implementation in cooperation with PV Process Governance.
  • Creates and maintains good working relationships with adjacent functions such as Information Systems (IS), PVIM and Data Assurance and Medical Operation.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in a science or technology field.
  • Extensive experience in pharma industry preferably including experience in a PV Process or Operations role.
  • Solid experience in managing people and/or teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects and deliverables.
  • High integrity to maintain confidential and proprietary information.
