About This Job:


The Senior Manager Omnichannel Analytics plays a critical role in the Global Advanced Analytics & Reporting team. The position has responsibility for measuring the performance of promotional channels for our products, generating insights and uncovering opportunities to optimise promotional activities and content. The successful candidate will be the “go-to” person for the commercial brand teams for deep-dive/ad-hoc analyses and new channel reporting needs assessments. The role will work collaboratively across the business with global/regional brand teams, Commercial Insights, Omnichannel Operations, and Information Systems, contributing to data/metrics harmonisation and insights sharing.


Key Activities are noted below:


  • Develop and execute promotional analytics measurement plans, analysing data to extract actionable insights using a variety of analytics techniques.
  • Identify and recommend promotional tactic optimisation opportunities for global/regional brand teams and Omnichannel Operations stakeholders to drive efficiency and effectiveness of investment.
  • Work closely with the cross functional teams to socialize insights from the channel/promotional analyses, providing guidance for leveraging reporting dashboards for ad hoc requests and to assess emerging business needs/reporting requirements.
  • Provide expertise to key stakeholders in campaign design/requirements gathering to ensure objectives are clearly defined and can be measured and that campaign data is properly sourced to ensure integrity of the measurement.
  • Contribute to commercial analytics projects such as Customer Segmentation and Promotional Mix Analysis
  • Evaluate and help evolve training support required to uplift capabilities in the use of analytics, working closely with the Advanced Analytics, Reporting and Omnichannel Operations teams.
  • Co-develop Omnichannel Analytics frameworks, and continuously look for ways to improve and innovate methodologies/processes.
  • Manage third party providers ensuring deliverables are fully met


Essential Knowledge & Experience:


  • Solid commercial experience from within the pharmaceutical industry
  • A background in statistical analysis and modelling and analytical projects such as decision theory, options, risk assessment
  • A good proficiency with SQL, SAS and/or R, MS Excel and Power Point and knowledge of Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Experience with visualization tools like Qlik View/Qlik Sense and/or Tableau and the ability to develop metrics/KPIs
  • Able to present business insights and provide recommendations
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to effectively interact with all levels of employees including senior leaders
  • Fluent in verbal/written English with solid communication skill
  • Evidenced organisational, planning and project management skills and ability to effectively manage cross-functional projects of moderate complexity in a multi-cultural context
  • The ability to demonstrate work independently in a dynamic fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision.
