About This Job:

This role sits within a Global Talent Acquisition (TA) function and is part of a team supporting our Established Markets Region (Europe, AUS, Canada & NZ). Reporting to the regional TA Director, the position will support the Established Markets Talent Acquisition strategy, with a focus on attracting, developing and retaining the best talent to meet the needs of an innovative Pharma company now and in the future. The region is supported by an outsourced recruitment model (RPO) so part of this role will be to ensure the highest standards of operational recruitment delivery and the evolution of the service through continuous improvement.

Key Activities are noted below:

  • Develop a detailed understanding of the TA landscape (including process and technology) across Established Markets, aligning to global strategy
  • Understand the TA strategy for Established Markets and impact on the roadmap for outsourced recruitment
  • Develop and nurture collaborative relationships with key stakeholders within HR and the business and understand their roles in or supporting end to end processes
  • Drive an operational strategy centred on excellence for managers and candidates and promote a culture of continuous improvement, refinement and/or simplification of process
  • Monitor/analyse key metrics and data, working with the RPO to continually improve service delivery
  • Troubleshoot/resolve operational issues, working with relevant stakeholders ensuring adherence to agreed processes
  • Work with appropriate stakeholders to ensure work instructions and process flows are up to date/relevant
  • Maintain a cadence of operational calls with appropriate stakeholders to summarise/track actions and ensure delivery and ensure that any changes are appropriately communicated
  • Act as an ambassador for TA and HR, proactively and appropriately managing any escalations and ensuring Audit compliance across operational activity
  • Support Talent Acquisition projects as necessary

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Talent Acquisition experience at an above country level and strong awareness of best practice
  • Proven operational management experience (preferably gained from an RPO/outsourced recruitment environment)
  • Strong understanding of recruitment technology and able to link functionality to recruitment process, seeing how interlinked processes and systems combine in end-to-end processes
  • Experience of documenting and refining processes with good attention to detail
  • Evidence of managing recruitment projects or initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels at all levels
  • Solutions driven, able to solve complex problems with practical, pragmatic and workable solutions, adapting to a changing environment
  • Able to work additional hours if required within a global matrix structure
  • Candidates must be fluent in verbal and written business English

Education/Qualifications:

  • Solid educational background (degree preferred)

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent full-time position based in the UK. The role does not currently support relocation/visa sponsorship
  • We operate a hybrid working pattern (office/remote – travel to the office in Addlestone if required)
