About this job:

As a Project Delivery Specialist, you will work as part of Astellas HR Operations team, delivering HR projects into the organisation, supporting Astellas globalization and drive for increased efficiencies and in this role, you will have a specific focus on operationalising changes implemented by Astellas Reward team. Daily responsibilities to include:

  • Providing end-to-end project management support, as an experienced PM
  • Supporting the implementation of revised cyclical HR processes including bonus, merit and long term incentive schemes.
  • Supporting other complex HR programs or change initiatives with a significant people or HR process dimension.
  • Working closely with project team members and business stakeholders on a global basis, under the supervision of the relevant project lead.
  • Ensuring the governance of HR projects is implemented effectively, including reporting standards for steering committee, executive and board meetings.

Essential Knowledge & Experience

  • End-to-end Project Management experience, gained within a HR environment, ideally HR Operations/HR Shared Services.
  • Experience of implementing cyclical HR schemes such as bonus and incentive programmes. 
  • Previous experience of being a part of large international transformation team
  • Experience of developing and implementing a range of continuous improvement projects both technology and process orientated
  • The ability to mitigate risks and bring solutions to stakeholders surrounding projects
  • Initiative and drive the learn and question

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • Pharmaceutical experience in a similar role is desirable however it is not essential
  • A recognised Project Management qualification such as Prince2


  • Degree in a related field would be ideal but not essential
