About this job:

This position role is to mainly achieve the territory sales targets through direct contact with healthcare providers and to implement the product marketing plans.

Your main responsibilities would be:

  • Maintaining relationships, detail to groups of doctors and healthcare professionals.
  • Working strategically in order to increase the notoriety and reputation of the pharmaceutical products of the company in the assigned therapeutic and geographical area.
  • Responsibility of the development of the whole assigned area – detailing products in all therapeutic areas of the company; allocating their time resources in alignment with the goals and strategy of the affiliate; setting together with the Sales manager of integrated plans on account level in collaboration with Medical function where appropriate and in accordance with Astellas policies
  • Initiating and organizing other supporting actions (e.g. CME, promotional meetings, sponsorship, etc.).
  • Developing, implementing and monitoring of the territory plan and performing market analysis
  • Ensuring product safety information is reported to pharmacovigilance department (DSO) no later than 24 hours from the receipt date.
  • Support localisation of materials and other tasks, requiring local insight of the market, as assigned by the TAM

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Degree in Natural Sciences (or more specific based on local regulations)
  • At least 2 years of applicable work experience is preferred
  • Driving license (B category).
  • Fluent in local language and good command of English

Preferred Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Experience working with oncology products.


  • Medical Doctor or Pharmacist degree.
  • Proficient knowledge of English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
