About This Job:

As part of our Global Commercial Insights team, this role will lead Affiliate Commercial Insights activities for our Mid size Markets (areas such as Benelux, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Czech ++), for Oncology products, and provide forward looking insights to advance the understanding of relevant markets, competitors and customers. The focus will be to deliver and execute insights plans that are aligned with global counterparts and address Affiliate objectives, tactical requirements and decision-making needs. 

Key Activities are noted below:

  • Develop an understanding of the market landscape which includes market potential, trends, unmet medical and patient needs, market access challenges and competitors’ trend for each of the assigned products
  • Provide assumptions and inputs to inform analytics plans, market and response models such as forecasting, identification of data sources, and other secondary research.
  • Serve as the primary strategic partner and point of accountability to Affiliate commercial leadership
  • Coordinate across Commercial Division Insights & Strategy teams, Data Strategy, Advanced, Analytics & Reporting and Commercial Forecasting functions to ensure integrated and consistent communication of insights and implications
  • Synthesize marketing intelligence learnings to inform business decisions and outcomes
  • Drive strong cross-functional stakeholder communication, promoting brand-level knowledge sharing and integration of key learnings

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Good experience from within pharmaceutical/health care in the fields of market research, business analytics, forecasting or related fields
  • An understanding of the functions of a global pharmaceutical organisation including  business strategy, products and customers
  • Able to identify, evaluate and translate primary and secondary data sources and analysis to provide an unbiased, objective understanding of the market, product performance, customers, and competitors and support franchise/product strategy
  • Understand how to interpret data (market, financial etc.) and how to leverage insights generated, integrating multiple data sources to build a strategic view
  • Experience in project management and able to manage multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and partnering skills with demonstrated ability to lead and work in a team-based, global environment
  • Ability to influence decision-making without line-authority
  • Fluent in written and spoken business English (second European language useful)
