The Opportunity:


This is a newly created role within our new Business unit of Women’s health. Your role will be as a trusted advisor for scientific exchange. You will be working in an autonomous position that requires you to be an experienced MSL and to liaise with Key opinion leaders and customers across your territory as well as support with all Medical Advisor duties. This position is a hybrid Medical Advisor/MSL role.


Your position will be field-based in the state of Melbourne, Victoria in Australia.


In this role, you will:


  • Engage in scientific exchange about your knowledge in this product and therapeutic area.
  • Initiate discussions regarding evolving trends in disease state management.
  • Be 60% customer facing (field-based) and 40% office based.
  • Provide strategic medical and scientific expertise in support of affiliate Medical Affairs (MA) deliverables and cross-functional activities.


Essential Knowledge & Experience:


  • Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison within the pharmaceutical space.
  • Knowledge within the women’s health therapeutic area, Endocrinology or relevant specialties.
  • Excellent presentation skills; fully fluent in written and verbal business English.


Preferred Knowledge & Experience:


  • Understanding of the drug development process as well as commercialization
  • Preferrable good understanding of the dynamics of a large corporate environment; comfortable with matrix reporting lines.
  • PhD or MD (but not essential).


Education:


  • Master’s degree in science, business or equivalent.


Additional information:


  • This is a permanent, full-time position.
  • Applicants must be based in Australia and have full working rights in Australia.
  • This position is field based in Melbourne, Australia, and 65% travel is expected in line with your role.
  • Candidates must be located within the state of Melbourne, Victoria.
