The Opportunity:
As a Brand Manager – Oncology (Czech Republic and Slovakia), you will be responsible for driving the success and growth of Astellas’ oncology portfolio across both markets.
In this role, you will work independently and cross-functionally to ensure that brand strategies are effectively localized, executed, and aligned with affiliate and regional priorities. Partnering closely with the Commercial Director and key stakeholders, you will lead the local brand strategy, deliver strong commercial performance, and ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute localized oncology brand plans, ensuring alignment with regional strategies and local market needs.
- Provide actionable market insights and strategic recommendations to the Commercial Director.
- Lead and coordinate the cross-functional Brand Team to achieve key business objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with KOLs and key external stakeholders to strengthen brand presence.Ensure all marketing initiatives and materials meet Astellas standards, regulatory requirements, and ethical compliance.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Proven experience in developing and implementing brand strategies within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Successful track record in product launches, lifecycle management, and achieving commercial results.
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, medical, and regulatory teams.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and budget management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and commitment to ethical, patient-focused work.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- Experience in the Oncology Therapeutic Area or other specialty care fields.
Education/Qualifications:
- University degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or equivalent.
Additional information:
- This is a permanent, full-time position.
- The position is based in Prague.
- This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 3-4 days per week in our office. The office appearance my be reduced after the first three months. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
