The Opportunity:

As a Commercial Co Lead, you are responsible for leading the development and execution of the local brand strategy and implementation of operational plans for Precision medicine, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and market opportunities. Further responsible for the achievement of the revenue and profit targets, leading cross-functional teams, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders on local as well as global level.
You will be part of an inclusive team that works to develop innovative therapies for patients.

Key Activities for this role:

  • Responsible for maximizing Local Precision medicine performance
  • Co-own the development and implementation of the Growth Strategy and annual plans for Precision medicine in close collaboration with Local Brand Team members and other stakeholders
  • Align with Global Brand Strategy planning in co-creation market by being a part of Global Brand Strategy planning.
  • Co-ordinate knowledge and understanding of the local market(s) to drive sustainable, profitable growth, enhancing operational efficiency and advancing Astellas’ commercial goals.
  • Responsible for managing the Local Precision Medicine Team budget and to be accountable for the local Brand P&L. To propose and oversee budget and resource allocation for Precision Medicine. Together with the Medical Co-Lead, to execute the approved budget and resource allocation, and if appropriate, to decide on budget allocation changes within guardrails. As CCL, to be accountable for the local Brand P&L.
    • Accountable for Local Team performance. To role-model the transversal, co-creational, and collaborative working model, sharing best practices across the business to sustainably grow the team’s effectiveness. To be accountable for performance evaluation of core Brand Team members, in cooperation with Functional Report-line Managers. To create an environment that provides frequent feedback among Brand Team members.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Solid experience in similar role.
  • Significant experience in Brand Management in the pharmaceutical sector with P&L Management and Forecasting experience.
  • Fluent knowledge of English and Italian languages.
  • Strong customer and patient orientation
  • Strategic and analytical mindset, with experience in developing marketing strategies.

Education:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent full-time position.
  • This position requires you to be 100% in the Astellas office in Milan, Italy.
