Location and Working Environment
- This position is based in Milan and will require on-site work nationally.

Purpose & Scope
- Lead Customer Excellence for the Affiliate with a broad focus on customer engagement, driving capability building across the entire field commercial function. Design and deliver training, coaching and development programmes for the field function, starting from the goal of maximising customer engagement excellence and putting the field force in the best possible position to do their job well.
- Ensure alignment between Region/Global priorities and their implementation at local level, for flawless local execution
Role and Responsibilities
- Proven experience in Customer Excellence and in developing commercial capabilities within Pharma or another highly regulated sector
- Strong skills in instructional design, training delivery and project management
- Background with strong interaction with the field force is preferred, with solid understanding of territorial
- market dynamics and local needs (familiarity with how Sales Reps and Area Managers work is a plus)
- Ability to read commercial KPIs and translate them into concrete development plans
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills, able to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Medical and HR
- Knowledge of the regulatory context and the industry code of practice
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Prior experience in a role interfacing with Region/Global.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree required; postgraduate qualifications or certifications in coaching/L&D are a plus or equivalent.
- Prior experience in Customer Excellence, capability building, sales and/or field force management roles within Pharma (preferred)
- Solid understanding of customer needs and local market dynamics, combined with exposure to commercial training programmes

Benefits
Salary Range
Salary information: €55,000 to €70,000 per annum. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to skills, experience, and organisational internal equity considerations.
