Location and Working Environment

  • Type of role full-time permanent.
  • This position is field based in (Sweden), located in the western part of the country, in Stockholm and as reasonably required by the business travel is expected in line with your role, and 80% travel is expected in line with your role.
  • Some limited, occasional travel in the Sweden (including overnight stays).

Purpose & Scope

  • The Customer Solution Manager (CSMgr) acts as the business owner for their assigned territory and products. They are responsible for identifying and prioritizing opportunities or challenges that can improve patient access and drive sales of Astellas products. The CSMgr brings these opportunities, challenges, and related insights to the Brand Team and X KAM team to enable a coordinated, task force based execution.
  • Key skills for the role include strong business acumen, account management, project management, and a high level of customer focus. Most importantly, the CSMgr must be able to identify opportunities, initiate collaborations, and build effective networks with relevant stakeholders such as healthcare professionals, payers, and other decision makers.
  • The role also requires the ability to translate brand strategy into actionable tactics and to create customer access that enables sustainable business engagement.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Driving business performance for the Astellas portfolio in the assigned territory, gathering insights for X KAM teams, and translating these insights into actionable plans.
  • Operating with a true omni channel approach—remote/hybrid meetings, webinars, approved email, and face to face interactions—and contributing to regional or global co creation processes to ensure local alignment with global strategy.
  • Ensuring accurate financial administration through the Concur system, completing required SOPs in the LMS, maintaining timely VEEVA reporting, and providing input for customer segmentation and account planning.
  • Adhering to all relevant internal policies, Business Procedures, and compliance requirements for both the country and Astellas Nordic, and seeking compliance advice when needed before planning events.
  • Setting up VEEVA interactions for initiatives led by the CSMgr and building trusted relationships with relevant HCPs in collaboration with internal functions such as EA/MAx and the Medical Manager.
  • Leading strategic key account management and executing customer journeys in line with Strategic Brand Plans, while supporting activities in other Nordic countries when required or when business opportunities arise.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a health related science or equivalent.
  • A customer focused, solution oriented mindset with strong business acumen and the ability to understand brand strategies and objectives, translating them into effective campaign planning, content creation, and execution.
  • In depth knowledge of the local market access environment, with the ability to conduct high quality stakeholder mapping and network analysis to support the account management team.
  • Experience in omnichannel planning and execution, working closely with relevant functions such as marketing, and an established customer network and/or relevant field experience.
  • Excellent project management skills, strong attention to detail, and a sense of urgency, combined with adherence to LIF requirements and internal standards.

  • The role requires a broad mix of skills and knowledge and is expected to operate independently, engaging proactively with relevant stakeholders and partners. Essential skills include account management, project management, customer focus, and the ability to identify opportunities, initiate collaborations, and build networks with key customers and stakeholders.
  • The ideal candidate is expected to collaborate and align with Co‑Leads and drive X‑KAM activities for any assigned area. He/she participates in and contributes to the Brand Team as agreed for the specific brand.
