The Opportunity:

As a First Line Sales Manager, one of your key responsibilities will be to ensure effective communication of scientific information to your team. You will also have specific objectives to achieve within your designated area. This position involves managing your assigned team and supporting their professional growth and development to enhance their overall capabilities.

Key Activities for this role:

  • Develop and implement the sales operations plan for the assigned product area, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manage and lead a team of Key Account Managers and Medical Representatives, providing guidance, training, and coaching to enhance their performance.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with key partners, medical experts, and other relevant stakeholders in the field.
  • Lead the process of mapping the account’s needs with the company's strategy, ensuring alignment and effective execution.
  • Setting territory business objectives, tracking performance, and taking appropriate action.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data for strategic decision-making.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Fluent in local language and English.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in the Therapeutic area if this is already established in Astellas.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time, permanent role.
  • Location: Sofia, Bulgaria.
  • This role is field-based.
  • Residence in the geographical area close to or in the assigned working area.
  • Potential for travelling internationally.
