Location and Working Environment

Type of role full-time permanent.

This position is field based in (Greece) and cover (Athens) and 80%.Occasional in-country or international travel (including overnight stays). Field-Based role may require long-distance driving.

Purpose & Scope

  • As a First Line Manager (rare disease- Haematology) , you are responsible for driving sales operations and achieving performance targets in the country.
  • You will join an inclusive team committed to developing innovative therapies that improve patients’ lives.

Role and Responsibilities

  • The role involves developing and executing the sales operations plan for the assigned product area while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. It requires achieving agreed sales targets, revenue goals, and broader performance indicators, as well as leading a team of Key Account Managers and Medical Representatives through guidance, coaching, and ongoing development. A key responsibility is building strong relationships with partners, medical experts, and stakeholders, and ensuring account needs are effectively mapped to company strategy.
  • The position contributes to Sales Force Effectiveness initiatives, business analysis, regional planning, customer segmentation, and resource allocation. It includes setting and tracking territory objectives, providing market and competitor insights, and representing the company nationally while engaging with KOLs. The role also involves organizing company participation in medical congresses, managing team communication, defining roles, recognizing performance, and collaborating with internal functions. Additional duties include recruitment, training, regular coaching, performance appraisal, and ensuring full compliance with ethical and professional standards in all customer interactions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets within rare diseases, preferably in haematology.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data for strategic decision-making.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
