Location and Environment

This position is hybrid and will require you to be onsite 2 days per week. Can be located in the UK or US.

Purpose & Scope

  • The Global Marketing Brand Lead, A2138 is a Senior Leader in the Global Strategic Brand Marketing Team, building and executing the most competitive insight driven global brand strategy in partnership with cross functional partners, other portfolio asset/brand teams, and the co-creation affiliates.
  • This position leads brand strategy, focusing primarily on preparing for initial approval and commercialization in gastric cancer, in order to ensure the most competitive launch and maximize brand value over time.
  • Other responsibilities may be relevant according to the needs of the brand at various times.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Leading global and affiliate co-creation initiatives to develop competitive brand strategies, positioning, messaging, and core campaigns.
  • Translating patient, scientific, market, and competitive insights into actionable commercial strategies to support successful launch and lifecycle management.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams, including Precision Medicine, to align commercialization, biomarker, and testing strategies.
  • Supporting global launch planning, execution, and performance monitoring through collaboration with Asset Maximization Teams, affiliate markets, and key stakeholders.
  • Driving alignment across the Claudin 18.2 portfolio and broader gastric cancer strategy to identify opportunities for collaboration and efficiency.
  • Developing stakeholder engagement and communication strategies, including support for key external expert engagement activities.
  • Ensuring effective translation of global strategy into regional and local execution through the development of tools, resources, and best practices.
  • Operating within all applicable ethical, compliance, and regulatory standards while fostering strong collaboration across a global, matrixed organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate or equivalent professional qualification and/or proven expertise.
  • Pharma sector experience with strong customer focus; in multi-disciplinary, matrix and cross-cultural settings.
  • Strong sales and/or marketing experience in an affiliate.
  • Oncology experience, ideally in gastric and/or pancreatic cancer
  • Proven ability and experience to effectively lead an international commercial group in a complex global environment for a multinational pharmaceutical company.
  • Track-record of leading planning process with excellent organisational and collaboration skills.
  • Proven compliance expertise; to understand and comply with industry laws and relevant regulations.
  • Coaching and collaboration skills to interact with all levels of personnel to achieve shared goals.
  • Demonstrable examples of ability to develop, coach and enable high-performance teams and proactively promote best practice and knowledge sharing.
  • Proven ability to influence, appropriately challenge and engage diverse senior stakeholders.
  • Fluent in written and verbal business English.
