Location and Working Environment
This position is based in the UK.
This position is hybrid and will require you to be onsite once per quarter in our local office.

Purpose & Scope
- Reports to the MA Global Strategy Lead and provides strategic medical leadership and operational execution support across early development, pre-launch, and post-launch phases.
- Leads global medical strategy in a highly cross-functional role, guiding evidence generation and collaborating with Development, Value Evidence, Commercial, CDx, and regional/local teams to prepare markets for successful clinical adoption and improved cancer patient outcomes.
Role and Responsibilities
- Supporting the development of effective medical and brand strategies for the asset and their execution to prepare for a pre/post launch phases
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure development and execution of brand strategies for the asset.
- Collaboration with regions to identify scientific gaps and develop medical strategies for designated oncology products in line with global and brand strategy.
- Co-Create Core Medical plan with key stakeholders for the designated product.
- Overseeing the development and execution of a data dissemination plan, including as appropriate, reviewing abstracts and contributing to manuscripts and other publications
- Providing feedback to clinical study protocol outlines, presenting and defending them in review process
- Act as SME to strengthen value proposition of the asset and elevate patient care.
- Lead and support development of integrated global medical and brand strategies for designated oncology product across the lifecycle.
- Provide strategic oversight of data generation activities as well as scientific communication for the asset.
- Identify and engage with KEES/organizations for insight generation, study collaboration and education on asset.

- Collaborate across functions to deliver innovative solutions in medical affairs.
- Managing budget and timelines for CMP execution.
- Coordinating medical activities at medical and scientific conferences
- Manage and oversee the publication activities for designated oncology product.
Required Qualifications
- A medical degree (MD or equivalent) recognised by one of the leading governing bodies from around the globe, or equivalent.
- Proven Medical Affairs experience working in the pharmaceutical industry with relevant leadership experience leading Global Medical affairs activities in Oncology.
- Ability to design and conduct various phases of clinical trials, including the ability to critically review and analyse study designs.
- Strong understanding of industry trends, the regulatory environment, as well as market access paths
- Experience in working in global matrix organizations collaborating with medical, clinical, regulatory, health economic & outcome research, epidemiology, medical information, commercial and other organizational partners to deliver results.
- Solid scientific analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic capabilities, project management and planning and organizational skills
- Fluent in written and verbal business English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical specialty and/or experience in Oncology especially Lung cancer.
- Work experience across multiple cultures and countries
