About This Job:

As a Key Account Manager, you will drive product usage and achieve sales targets in your defined accounts in the Republic of Ireland. You will be responsible for implementing the brand marketing strategy and brand tactics at the territory and customer level. In line with your role, you will be shaping decision-making in your accounts through engagement with a network of various stakeholders and create opportunities for brand growth and brand adoption within your given area of responsibility. Additionally, you will be part of an inclusive team that is dedicated to developing innovative therapies for patients.

Key Activities for this role:

  • Develop detailed account plans outlining activities to be undertaken at account/territory level in pursuit of sales excellence. Manage account/territory promotional spend budgets within agreed parameters. Report account plan updates and progress at agreed time points.
  • Deliver objectives as outlined by Line Manager/Brand Manager for specific brand related tactics. Development and implementation of tactics as required to achieve objectives.
  • Ensure the highest standards of compliance are met in relation to Astellas and industry codes of practice and conduct.
  • Deliver brand objectives and dynamic customer engagement through utilization of Astellas Omni Channel tool kit.
  • Refer all Medical queries and Pharmacovigilance issues to the Medical Department in line with internal Astellas policies.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Appreciation of relevant Compliance and Regulatory legislation, application, and forthcoming changes.
  • In depth knowledge and experience Secondary care sales with a proven track record of success.
  • Key Account Management and key stakeholder management experience.
  • In depth understanding of the market access environment in Ireland.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • Ideally, life sciences-related degree.
  • Market access experience is beneficial.
  • Oncology experience is preferred.

Educations/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in in a business, marketing, or health related field or equivalent.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent, full-time position.
  • This position is field based in Greater Dublin, Ireland and as reasonably required by the business travel is expected in line with your role with overnights as required.
  • Some international travel may also be required.
