• Act as a trusted scientific partner to Key External Experts (KEEs) and healthcare stakeholders by driving high quality scientific exchange across the product life cycle.
• The role exists to generate meaningful medical insights from the field, strengthen external scientific relationships, and ensure appropriate, evidence based use of Astellas products in alignment with Medical Affairs strategy.

• Engage in peer to peer scientific exchange with external stakeholders in one on one and group settings, sharing knowledge on products, disease areas, and therapeutic trends to support safe and effective use.
• Execute tactical field plans for engagement with the medical and scientific community, including support of Medical Education activities and identification of future stakeholders (e.g. KEEs, nurses, pharmacists).
• Gather, analyze, and communicate medical insights from the field to inform internal strategy and decision making.
• Maintain up to date scientific and clinical knowledge, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of the local healthcare environment.
• Collaborate cross functionally with colleagues across Medical Affairs, HEOR/RWE, Commercial Operations, Clinical Operations, PV, Regulatory, Market Access, Finance, Legal, and E&C.

• Master’s degree in health related sciences or equivalent
• Relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated competencies in scientific exchange, medical insight generation, interpersonal relationship building, learning agility, and business fluent English.
• Valid driving license (Category B).

• MD, PhD, or PharmD degree or equivalent
