• This is a permanent role based in our Global Capability Centre in Warsaw, Poland and hybrid working with the expectation for some office presence. Flexibility may be required in line with business need. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.

• S2P Operational role within Procurement Operations for the EMEA region
• Responsible for day-to-day regional operational performance
• Ensures alignment with global standards and objectives
• Maintains commitment to operational excellence, controls, and compliance
• Contributes to the global S2P continuous improvement agenda
• Embeds a continuous improvement mindset across S2P operations
• Collaborates closely with the wider S2P Pod
• Supports delivery of transformation initiatives

• Act as a subject matter expert for all regional sub process operations including Quality Control, Compliance, Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence.
• Communicate with impacted business customer groups to understand and interpret operational user experience and convert into impactful operational improvements. Communicate changes to the business users and senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to all operational areas of Source to Pay where required such as Contracting, Invoicing and Supplier Master.
• Maintain customer feedback loops, translating business user experience feedback into tangible improvements and outcomes that are welcomed by the Astellas business.
• Leverage external networks to continuously reference, benchmark and validate Astellas performance and uncover fresh operational improvement areas.
• Work competently across Procurement, Finance, Ethics Compliance, IT, Tax and relevant business users to ensure operational activities are aligned and endorsed.
• Drive efficiency across S2P through automation, AI-driven purchasing experience and seamless workflow with the right balance of business self-service.
• Collaborate with the source to pay transformation teams by enabling best in class transactional performance, high BPO (Outsourced processing service) service quality and setting externally benchmarked KPI and SLA for the relevant processes

• A working knowledge of the full suite of Ariba, SAP S4, Ariba Network and Service Now
• Substantial experience within Procurement Operations
• Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills with a proactive and problem-solving mindset in global matrixed settings
• Proficiency in business English is essential for effective cross-country collaboration

• Ability to define business problems and apply iterative approaches to develop technology-enabled solutions
• Experience operating in global procurement or shared services environments across regions and time zones
• Builder mindset with a passion for innovation, demonstrated success leading digital initiatives within Procurement
• Proven ability to coach non-technical stakeholders and contribute to communities of practice or digital innovation hubs
• Competent in agile deployment of initiatives including agile scrum experience. Able to participate as a process subject matter expert in prioritised operational initiatives as part of agile teams
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent
