The Opportunity:
As a strategic HRBP advisor and a trusted global HR strategic thought leader, you will partner with multiple different Functional Unit Heads to design/achieve/lead mid to long-term strategic business outcomes through superior business and human capital workforce planning, including creation of vision, talent and change management.
As HRBP you will support global accountability, requiring collaboration with the business and within HR to ensure strategic alignment with business needs and effective solution execution.

Key Activities for this role:
- Accountable for partnering with FUHs that are assigned by Head, HRBP to deliver on strategic HR support and or transformational projects.
- Accountable for collaborating with HRBPs, FUHs and HR CoEs to ensure global HR policies and frameworks are aligned with organisational strategy and market or functional requirements, utilizing business acumen and market or functional complexity knowledge.
- Accountable for championing a future focused approach by thinking strategically and anticipating new opportunities, as well as understanding external market trends to drive successful organisational transformation.
- OneHR Mindset and Collaboration: Champion Astellas' values and behaviors, fostering an environment where HR colleagues feel engaged and inspired to achieve exceptional business results.
- Collaborate with OneHR and leverage HR expertise from people services, people partners, people enablement and develop innovative solutions
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Pharmaceutical or Life Science industry experience in HR or a related field.
- Subject matter expertise in two or more key HR functions e.g. OE/OD, Change, Learning and Leadership, Compensation, Talent and Recruitment to set/embed high standards and build capability in designated area(s)across the organization.
- Experience of working in a business function, outside of Human Resources.
Educations/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or a related field or equivalent.
Additional information:
- This is a permanent role in United Kingdom.
- Role requires a blend of home and minimum once a quarter in our Regional or Affiliate Astellas office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office
