The Opportunity:

As the Key Account Manager, Bulgaria, you will be instrumental in cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders in your assigned area. Using your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, you will actively engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and align them with the strategic objectives.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of executing targeted commercial activities that drive business impact. By leveraging your problem-solving abilities and collaborative approach, you will strengthen our presence and contribute to achieving organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships, and detail to groups of doctors and HC professionals.
  • Work strategically to increase the notoriety and reputation of the pharmaceutical products of the company in the assigned therapeutic and geographical area.
  • Strengthen the assigned area by detailing products in all therapeutic areas of the company, allocating their time resources in alignment with the goals and strategy of the affiliate, setting together with the Sales manager integrated plans on account level in collaboration with Medical function where appropriate and in accordance with Astellas policies.
  • Initiate and organize other supporting actions (e.g. CME, promotional meetings, sponsorship, etc.).
  • Develop a territory plan, perform market analysis at the territory level, and implement and monitor the plan.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Solid experience as a Product Specialist, Key Account Specialist, Key Account Manager, Sales Representative, or similar field commercial role.
  • Knowledge of the health environment in the area (reference hospitals and Key Opinion Leaders).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Market/Sales Analysis.
  • Intermediate level of English.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in Oncology or related therapeutic areas.
  • Strong communication and presentation capabilities.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences or equivalent.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent, full-time position.
  • The position is based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
  • This position is field-based in Bulgaria and 80% of travel time is expected, this role will cover Sofia and Blagoevgrad.
