The Opportunity:
As the Lead for Global Medical Affairs Data Solutions and Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of medical affairs at Astellas Pharma. You will lead business intelligence, data analytics, and reporting activities that communicate the value of our Medical Affairs initiatives. Your contributions will directly impact patient care and the strategic direction of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Head of DS A to define a multi-year data and analytics roadmap that aligns with key business objectives.
- Support the deployment of data and analytics solutions throughout the Medical Affairs organization, contextualizing insights to business processes.
- Collaborate with Operations and MA colleagues to identify new data requirements and ensure integration with existing datasets.
- Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of reporting and business operations processes.
Essential Knowledge Experience:
- Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, preferably in medical affairs communications, reporting, project management, or operations.
- Demonstrable expertise in research and analytical methods, and/or BI visualization tools.
- Proven experience in an analytical or senior management reporting role with ability to illustrate and report on complex data, distilling complicated concepts into clear narratives.
- Proven leadership skills in a matrix organization, motivating team members to achieve high performance.
Preferred Experience:
- Relevant management experience in medical affairs, communications, or market research.
- Experience mentoring employees within the company and across functional areas.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Additional Information:
- This is a permanent, full-time position.
- This position is based in Poland.
- This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 1 day per quarter in our Warsaw office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs.
