The Opportunity:
As the Lead for Global Medical Education Excellence, you will build and drive capability frameworks that empower our Medical Affairs (MA) teams to deliver best class educational activities. Your contributions will directly impact patient care and advance our mission to "Change Tomorrow" through innovative medical education strategies.

Key Activities for this role:
- Build, implement, and continuously optimize capabilities that enable Astellas MA to deliver targeted medical education activities addressing identified educational gaps.
- Innovate by adopting industry best practices to advance medical education approaches tailored to healthcare professionals' needs and preferences within an omnichannel framework.
- Lead and drive MA educational strategies to empower local brand teams to meet identified educational requirements.
- Oversee regional and affiliate-proposed MA-sponsored educational initiatives, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards and regulatory compliance.
- Establish and nurture effective strategic relationships across MA leadership and other relevant stakeholders.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Extensive scientific/medical experience in a global pharmaceutical industry environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities with a high level of efficiency.
- Significant experience in MA disciplines and knowledge of Medical Education strategies and programs (CME/company-directed education).
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to interact at all levels of personnel.
- Strong problem-solving skills, strategic capabilities, and planning and organization skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in a global pharmaceutical industry environment.
- Preferable matrix management experience.
- Experience within a Therapeutic Area.
Education:
- MS Degree in health-related science or equivalent.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time permanent role.
- This position is based in our Warsaw, Poland office.
- This position follows our hybrid working model. The role requires a blend of home and minimum 1 day per month in our local office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
