The Opportunity:

As a Payroll Advisor at Astellas Pharma, you play a crucial role in overseeing and managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and providing expert support to both employees and management on all payroll-related matters. Your contributions directly impact our mission to improve lives worldwide through innovative healthcare solutions. Hybrid Working:

Key Activities for this role:

  • Audit bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor and manage payroll issues, escalating as necessary to maintain smooth operations.
  • Review and process annual tax submissions, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
  • Manage relationships with third-party providers to guarantee timely and precise payroll processing. Support the execution of reward-related administration in close collaboration with the Reward Centre of Excellence.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Significant experience in payroll administration or advisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax law, and labor law.
  • Proven track record of managing regional payrolls and processes effectively.
  • Proficiency in payroll software, including SAP, with expertise in MS Office (especially Excel and Access).
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.

Preferred Experience:

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification or equivalent
  • Experience with multi-state or international payroll processes.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and a strong analytical mindset.

Educations/Qualifications:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent, full-time position.
  • Location: Warsaw, Poland.
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. The role requires a blend of home and minimum 2-3 days per week in our local office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
