The Opportunity:

As a Platform Engineer of a team of individuals in a specific area of digital expertise, you will be a crucial player in driving our digital initiatives forward in our agile organization.

An Enterprise Business Platforms Engineer focuses on the development, deployment, and integration of software platforms that support our business processes and operations. This role involves a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the specific platforms that drive business functions such as ServiceNow for ITSM, CMDB, Virtual Agents, and Service Catalog, CSM, iHub, Gen-AI, HRSD/EC Pro. The goal is to ensure these platforms are optimized to support business goals, enhance efficiency, and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Platform Development and Configuration: Design, develop, and configure business platforms to meet the specific needs of our organization. This could involve programming, configuring settings, and integrating various software solutions.
• System Integration: Ensure seamless integration between different business platforms and systems (e.g., integrating Aravo and ServiceNow systems) to enhance data flow and business processes.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Regularly monitor the performance of business platforms, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and user experience.
• User Support and Training: Provide technical support to platform users, resolve issues, and conduct training sessions to ensure users can effectively utilize the platforms.
• Initiative Execution: Actively participate in and contribute to various initiatives, applying your specialized skills to achieve the objectives and expected Value. Contribute to the ongoing realization of Value from these enterprise platforms through continuous integration and deployment.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

• Substantial years as a solution-driven professional in ServiceNow solutions.
• ServiceNow Mainline certifications across multiple ServiceNow products are expected.
• Experience and ability to design and deliver comprehensive enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, Virtual Agents, and Service Catalog modules.
• Delivered solutions for at least 1-2 other areas from the following list: ITAM, APM, S2P, OT and HRSD/EC Pro and Azure DevOps integration experience.
• Develop dashboards and monitoring metrics, KPIs and service levels, providing data and reports
• Experience with large ServiceNow transformation programs e.g. establishing new helpdesks, global implementations, workflow orchestration, moving a single ServiceNow Portal, consolidating virtual agents,
• Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks
• Experience within the Life Sciences/ Pharma industry is preferable, but other complex and highly regulated industry experiences will be considered.

Preferred Qualification:

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferable
• ITIL Certified
• Full-life cycle ServiceNow management with experience leading 2+ upgrade projects to enhance platform functionality and efficiency.
• Experience with newer ServiceNow tools a distinct advantage - iHub, RPA & Gen-AI

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience.)
