The Opportunity:
In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing and supplier management of Digital Services supporting the pharmaceutical lifecycle. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective external partnerships across Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance, aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Working cross-functionally with stakeholders in Medical, Safety, Legal, IT, and Finance, you will help shape and implement sourcing strategies that enable innovation, ensure regulatory compliance, and support end-to-end service delivery. This is a highly strategic role within the global procurement function that contributes directly to improving patient outcomes and operational excellence.

Key Activities for this role:
- Lead sourcing initiatives across digital services including RFP/RFI processes, supplier evaluations, and high-value contract negotiations.
- Structure contracts with robust compliance terms, KPIs, SLAs, and clear deliverables across areas like Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance.
- Partner with Medical, Safety, and Regulatory teams to align sourcing strategies to the pharma lifecycle across all therapeutic areas.
- Manage vendor performance and contract compliance for services including safety case processing, scientific dissemination, and digital platforms.
- Leverage digital tools and dashboards to monitor supplier performance and improve sourcing insights and ROI analysis.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Significant experience in technology sourcing, ideally within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
- Deep understanding of the pharma lifecycle and associated services (e.g., real-world evidence, safety, and medical affairs).
- Strong contract negotiation and project management skills with experience leading complex sourcing projects.
- Ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams, aligning business needs with procurement strategies.
- Knowledge of key industry regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., GVP, GDPR, Sunshine Act).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in healthcare, law, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong budgeting and financial analysis skills, with experience in managing sourcing economics.
- Track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects and supplier relationships.
- Experience in metrics development, performance reporting, and contract compliance.
- Familiarity with AI tools and digital platforms relevant to Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance.
Education/Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage priorities and deliver strategic sourcing value.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, regulated, and global environment.
Additional Information:
- This is a permanent, full-time position.
- This position is based in Warsaw (Poland)
- This is a permanent role based in our Global Capability Centre in Warsaw, Poland and hybrid working with the expectation for some office presence. Flexibility may be required in line with business need. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office
