Location and Working Environment
This is a full-time permanent role based in Sydney, NSW and hybrid working with the expectation for some office presence. Flexibility may be required in line with business need. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.

Purpose & Scope
- Due to structural changes within the business, this role has become live and is part of the ANZ Leadership team.
- Your role will be as the senior compliance officer for the ANZ business and provide and oversee compliance support, related to protecting and advancing compliance and risk-mitigation. This is an autonomous role whilst working closely with the wider global teams and SME’s.
Role and Responsibilities
- Your role will be as a Subject Matter Expert and as a trusted advisor for the ANZ business
- You will enable the Australian affiliate to understand and strictly adhere the company code of Conduct, Medicines Australia Codes of Practice, relevant Healthcare Compliance policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- You will be required to Co-chair the local the Ethics and Compliance Committee together with the General Manager of ANZ and identify and anticipate risks regularly and ensure risk mitigation plans in place.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive and proven experience in a legal or compliance department
