Location and Working Environment
This position is hybrid and will require you to be onsite 1 day per quarter in our Addlestone office.
This position is a based in the UK.

Purpose & Scope
- Reporting directly to the Global Medical Affairs Strategy Lead, the Director/Senior Director will play a key role in shaping and delivering the global medical strategy for the product across the full lifecycle – from early development through to pre- and post-launch.
Role and Responsibilities
- Supporting the development and delivery of impactful medical and scientific strategies for the relevant oncology product, ensuring the effective execution of the global medical tactical plan.
- Providing strategic oversight and guidance on data generation activities and key Medical Affairs initiatives.
- Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align medical insights with broader business and patient-focused objectives.
- Monitoring and assessing the external medical landscape, bringing forward insights to help inform and shape global and regional medical strategy.
Continue: Role and Responsibilities
The following activities are performed under the direction of, and in alignment with, the Global Medical Affairs Strategy Lead and in collaboration with the wider team:
- Identifying and engaging with KEEs and relevant organisations for advisory work, insight generation, study collaboration, and education on the asset/test, supporting the successful delivery of the Phase 3 programme.
- Supporting evidence generation activities and related publications.
- Supporting the execution of internal and external medical education initiatives for the programme.
- Serving as a subject matter expert on the asset, providing external medical and business environment perspectives to regional and cross-functional teams.
- Supporting the scientific and medical development and approval of robust study synopses, protocols, and study reports, including health economic and outcomes research (HEOR) studies, ensuring clinical and scientific accuracy.
- Providing medical expertise and reviewing non-promotional medical materials, including slide presentations, local dossiers, and health outcomes models.
- Supporting global and regional medical advisory boards, helping to gather insights and inform medical strategies.
- Supporting training activities, planning and executing launch plans, the Core Medical Plan (CMP), and associated tactics.
- Collaborating with counterparts in Development, Commercial, and Regulatory Affairs to implementing tactics for the therapeutic area portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Solid experience in Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven experience in leading medical affairs activities in a pharmaceutical company
- Ability to input into design and delivery of various phases of clinical trials, including the ability to critically review and analyse study designs.
- Strong understanding of industry trends, the regulatory environment and market access challenges.
- Experience in working in global matrix organizations collaborating with medical, clinical, regulatory, health economic & outcome research, epidemiology, medical information, commercial and other organisational partners to deliver results.
- Solid scientific analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic capabilities, project management and planning and organsational skills
- Fluent in written and verbal business English.

- MD or PharmD or equivalent
