The Opportunity:
Supported end-to-end supply chain operations within a GMP pharmaceutical environment, including buying, planning, scheduling, logistics analysis, and warehouse operations. Played a key role in the setup and rollout of SAP or equivalent ERP systems to improve operational efficiency and data integrity. Ensured compliance with regulatory standards such as FDA and EMA requirements, as well as GMP and GDP guidelines. Collaborated with Validation Engineers to develop and execute validation protocols and performed data analysis to ensure manufacturing and testing readiness. Identified process improvement opportunities and implemented effective solutions to optimize supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysed Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supply chain performance metrics to track inventory, shipments, and operations while ensuring compliance with GDP standards.
- Supported the implementation of automated warehouse technologies, including robotics, barcode scanning, and RFID systems.
- Contributed to the development and maintenance of compliant operational procedures across warehouse activities such as receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams, suppliers, distributors, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to support reliable and timely product delivery.
- Provided project support, including Change Control, Commissioning/Qualification activities, and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Monitored operational performance, analysed data to identify risks and improvement opportunities, and reported findings and issues to the Operations Lead.
Education:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business/engineering or relevant science discipline.
