Location and Working Environment
This position is hybrid and will require you to be onsite 1 day per quarter in our Addlestone office. This position is a based in the UK.

Purpose & Scope
The Medical Writing Scientist gathers, reviews, and analyzes data to produce high-quality documents, ensuring they meet internal and external customer needs. They create and revise documents using established templates, ensuring correctness in structure, content, language, and style. The scientist maintains data consistency and document integrity by evaluating and incorporating comments appropriately, collaborating with content authors and the scientific document lead. They help resolve issues, integrate outcomes into the document, and assist with approval and finalization.
Role and Responsibilities
• Drafting documents by integrating cross-functional input, ensuring the document communicates the necessary information for internal and external audience needs
• Interacting with members of the document working group, author team, and scientific document lead to complete assigned responsibilities
• Ensuring data consistency and document integrity by critically evaluating comments and incorporating them appropriately
• Addressing all comments in collaboration with content authors and the scientific document lead, facilitating issue resolution
• Documenting the course of action for comments or edits, explaining incorporation or reasons for non-incorporation for reviewers
• Drafting updated documents, performing editorial work and facilitating document approval and finalisation.
Required Qualifications
• BA/BS degree or equivalent
• Relevant experience and/or advanced degree
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic with a passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic and diverse work environment
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions
• Ability to work independently without significant oversight or instruction to achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency in computer systems including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in writing documents with scientific content.
• Technical expert for at least one type of regulated document / document component (generally IND/IMPD or NDA/MAA component, Investigator’s Brochure, Briefing Document, Clinical Study Report) prepared by Medical Writing (document type relevant to assignment).
• With direction of staff or designee, able to build persuasive and scientific-based arguments that support the regulatory or other purpose of the document and able to incorporate principles of content re-use.
• Proficient in project and quality management.
