Location and Working Environment

This position is 100% onsite in Kerry, Ireland.

Purpose & Scope

  • In this role, you will report to the site Health, Safety and Environmental Lead to support the planning and implementation of environmental health and safety programs by helping to develop and maintain a comprehensive occupational safety program for the facility including safety inspections, participate on incident investigations.
  • You will help in the carrying out of environmental daily and weekly checks to ensure compliance with all environmental legislation.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to EHS Group.
  • Participate on projects for new equipment or improvement as EHS representative.
  • Carrying out site inspections and audits with the EHS Team.
  • Collecting and collating relevant information as part of EHS Team.
  • Assisting with site administration and weekly reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or special projects as needed.
  • Performing lab analysis tests on wastewater and surface water.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Environmental or Health and Safety discipline or related science discipline
