Purpose and Scope:
Responsible for creation/maintenance of supply chain master data in global systems (SAP ECC / S/4, IBP, rfXcel) on time as requested in an implementation report, standalone request, data quality request or deactivation request. The specialist of SCM master data maintenance who is having global system knowledge and experience and familiar with Astellas data rules to secure data integrity.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Analyze and optimize supply chain operations to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals, incuding process flow, production scheduling, and warehouse utilization.
- Manage inventory control to balance supply and demand, prevent shortages, and minimize excess stock.
- Coordinate logistics and transportation operations, including working with suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Manufacturing, SAP and Regional Supply Chain, to ensure seamless integration of end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Implement and customize supply chain management software to improve operational tracking and efficiency.
- Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and scenario modeling to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies to improve the value stream within the plant.
- Build and maintain vendor and distributor relationships to ensure OTIF delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- Education is bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Understands master data management model and tools and methods to set up and maintain master data in accordance with quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experienced working with system Microsoft office like Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Access.
- Experienced working with SAP ECC / S/4 or ERP and IBP systems.
- Experienced working with RfXcel system.
