Location and Working Environment

This position is 100% onsite in Tralee, Ireland.

Purpose & Scope

  • Professional supply chain and logistics responsibility across end‑to‑end operations including buying, planning, scheduling, and strategic planning.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials, efficient production schedules, and optimized inventory management in a GMP pharmaceutical environment.
  • Apply SAP/ERP expertise to support strategic and operational supply chain performance.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Shape departmental and organizational direction through strategic planning, budgeting, investment planning, and cross‑functional influence.
  • Lead supply chain strategy, vendor selection, negotiations, performance management, and supplier partnerships.
  • Oversee production scheduling, demand alignment, and inventory optimization in collaboration with production, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Drive process optimization through SAP/ERP systems, KPIs, analytics, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP/GDP/FDA/EMA requirements and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
  • Manage deviations, CAPAs, change controls, SOPs, and visual management systems.
  • Build collaborative internal/external relationships, support innovation, communication, and organizational performance culture.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain software (e.g., SAP).
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical or other regulated supply chain environments.
