Based in our Killorglin, Kerry site. This role reports to the Lead Pharma Manu Ops KP (Capsule Production).

Department Function:

Provide support to the Capsule Production Business Unit.


Main Position functions:

·       Student work experience supporting Capsule Production.

About This Job

Technical Support

  • Provide Technical and QA support services to the unit.
  • Support the delivery of ESQDC unit targets.
  • Ensure an effective & efficient line & processes.
  • Drive Business Unit continuous performance improvement.
  • Maintain a visible line & process Quality Management system.
  • Support the unit by developing robust process & systems to ensure delivery of effective quality.
  • Support Continuous Improvement through Kaizen and Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Manage, plan & coordinate relevant performance improvement projects. Support capital and non-capital investment projects impacting on unit.
  • Manufacturing Batch Record reviews.
  • Customer Complaint Investigations.

Essential Knowledge & Experience

  • Studying a 3rd level degree qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering or Chemistry discipline.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, awareness, attention to detail, team player.
  • This position requires excellent self-starting skills and requires a “solution focused” individual to problem solve.
  • Respects others, embraces individual differences and actively seeks to understand colleagues’ cultural needs, perspectives, and backgrounds.
  • Sets ambitious, challenging targets and objectives and is relentless in his/her efforts to deliver against them. Shows commitment and drive when faced with a challenge.
