The Opportunity:

In this role, the focus is on ensuring that managerial information, reporting, and analysis are accurate, accessible, and aligned with global reporting and planning systems. This includes supporting the consolidation of managerial information, providing analytical support, developing templates and models, and delivering insightful analysis for planning and forecasting. Key metrics include managerial P&L, brand revenues, volume/price analysis, brand P&Ls and investment breakdowns by function and brand etc.

The role requires strong system knowledge to effectively collaborate with the Centre of Excellence (COE), translating business needs into reporting and forecasting solutions. It manages master data structures and hierarchies for Commercial and Medical Affairs P&L, recommending improvements where needed.

It also supports the development of management reports and insight gathering for results and forecasts. The role works directly with the Global Commercial FP&A Lead and supports broader finance teams in driving standardisation and efficient operations.
Close collaboration with the FP&A COE to ensure that systems and data structures are in place to meet business requirements and support effective decision-making.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that the relevant managerial information for Commercial and Medical affairs is accurate, consistent and easily accessible from the global systems for reporting, planning and analysis. Supports the consolidation of managerial information, preparation of management decks/presentations, and provides analytical support by coordinating with analysts to understand variance drivers and assumption changes. 
  • Supports planning and forecasting processes by localising global templates (created by the COE), maintaining and creating master templates, models, reports and analysis to upload and extract data from various systems. Supports the development of forecast models, analyses historical and current data to identify trends
  • Responsible for managing master data structures and hierarchies for overall P&L related to Commercial and Medical Affairs and recommending enhancements. Has strong knowledge of data and systems and able to collaborate with the COE to translate and implement business requirements into effective system-based solutions. Capable of building efficient models, templates, and standard analysis tools that support planning, reporting, and performance monitoring.
  • Collaborates extensively with COE teams on developing standardised reports and analysis, ensures data accuracy through validation and reconciliation. Identifies and implements process improvements and optimisation initiatives. Supports Finance Business Partners (FBPs) to ensure requirements are met and provides ad hoc support as required.
  • Champions a culture of Ethics and Compliance by embedding Integrity in Action across all activities. Proactively addresses non-compliance and leads by example, incorporating cross-cultural considerations in complex situations.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

Management Accounting Certificate (e.g. CIMA) or equivalent or near completion

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis, with completed or near-completed Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification. Strong foundation in accounting, internal controls, and compliance. Experience within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Solid experience with ERP systems (SAP) and planning tools (BPC preferred).
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint, 
  • Strong financial background with advanced financial analysis capabilities. Skilled in creating dashboards, reports, and supporting planning and forecasting through Excel and other information technology tools.
  • Adept at engaging with Centres of Excellence (COE) and system teams, and comfortable communicating with various levels of management. Proven ability to foster collaborative teamwork and build effective cross-functional partnerships.
  • Experienced in identifying and implementing process improvements, with a focus on optimisation. 

Preferred Experience:

  • Management Accounting Certificate (e.g. CIMA) or equivalent or near completion or equivalent
  • Solid experience with ERP systems (SAP) and planning tools (BPC; Anaplan an advantage)
  • Experience in Pharma industry is preferred.

Education:

  • University degree or relevant technical education or work experience or equivalent

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent, full-time position 
  • This position is based in Poland 
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and minimum 1 days per quarter in our Poland office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
