The Opportunity:

As the Global Payroll Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring full compliance across multiple regions (APAC, EMEA, LATAM, US), ensuring compliance with local tax and labour laws, and driving continuous improvement in payroll operations. This role ensures timely and accurate payroll delivery, supports audits, and partners with HR, Finance, and external vendors to optimize payroll systems and processes.
The role will report into the Global HR Workforce Services Lead and will be managing circa 10 direct reports in a global environment. This position is based out of Addlestone, UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The role is accountable for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of the ‘accurately payroll processing and providing data and insights on the volume of activity, trends, issues, concerns, and success stories.
  • Accountable for the day-to-day delivery of the payroll Outsourced vendors, managing escalations in the services across multiple regions, as well as being escalation route for more complex, sensitive payroll queries, ensuring effective resolution with minimal business impact
  • Responsible for the oversight and management of the JSOX and Audit monitoring and reports as directed and needed by internal audit.
  • Work closely with People Team to execute and deliver Cyclical HR Processes Merit, Bonus where it impacts payroll administration
  • Payroll Approval – Reviews and approves payroll before it gets processed for payment ensuring appropriate back up is provided for every single transaction
  • Promote the Continuous Improvement mind-set through acting as a Change Agent, training and encouraging continuous Improvement initiatives at all levels of the People Services organisation

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience in payroll operations within a global organisation.
  • Proven experience working with outsourced payroll vendors
  • Familiarity with multi-country payroll processing and statutory compliance in regions such as APAC, EMEA, LATAM, US
  • Must have significant experience in a leadership role with proven team management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of payroll systems such as SAP, ADP.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Has meticulous attention to detail with a keen sense of ownership and accountability

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent.

Additional information:

  • This is a full time, permanent position.
  • This position is based in our Addlestone office in the United Kingdom.
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 1 day per quarter in our Addlestone office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs.
