The Opportunity:
As a Graduate Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, regulatory compliance, procurement, and continuous improvement of all facilities systems and equipment.
You will actively participate in the implementation and compliance of the Energy Management System, including continuous efficiency reviews of facility system operations and efficient design reviews for all new equipment and processes.
You will be part of an inclusive team that works to develop innovative therapies for patients.
Key Activities for this role:
- Support continuous development of Facilities and energy management systems to achieve maximum operational and maintenance efficiency.
- Contribute to and help develop operational / maintenance procedures to achieve and maintain best practice and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain and continually improve the Energy Management System.
- Provide Facilities focused input to organization projects.
- Develop and plan shutdown schedules with Facilities and Business Units.
- Feedback potential problems quickly and accurately, e.g., resources, technical issues, etc.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Theoretical knowledge of some or all HVAC & Clean Systems (e.g., Purified Water / Pure Steam / WFI) is an advantage.
- Understanding of some Facilities/Utilities Systems or Energy Management Systems within a GMP manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work independently and take a proactive approach to all aspects of the role is essential.
- Good documentation practices.
Educations/Qualifications:
- Third-level qualification in an Engineering or Science discipline or equivalent.

- This is a permanent, full-time position.
- Location: Tralee Plant, County Kerry, Ireland.
- This position is field based in Tralee plant/County Kerry Ireland. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
