The Opportunity:
As the Lead, Global Field Medical Excellence (FME), you will provide global strategic leadership to drive the success of the field medical organization by ensuring the highest standards for, and delivery of, impactful external scientific engagements with a consistent approach worldwide. Your primary focus will be to elevate global field medical capabilities through development and execution of global programs and initiatives in collaboration with regional field medical leaders and other internal stakeholders. Provides input into defining and coordinates the core field medical strategy in partnership with field medical teams in the regions. Establishes and maintains quality standards and oversees consistent and efficient implementation across field medical teams worldwide. You must understand industry best practices/trends as well as emerging technologies while considering local regulatory requirements to deploy scalable and sustainable global solutions to enable a best in class, value-driven field medical organization.

Key Activities for this role:
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on the Global FME Dedicated Core Team to establish and maintain high-quality standards and ensure consistent, compliant implementation worldwide.
- Responsible for the coordination and quality oversight between field medical operations in the regions in support of the overall MA strategy and business objectives.
- Ensure adherence to the FME Dedicated Core Team agreed strategy and deliverables and supports the evolution of the field medical organization forward with innovative thinking to evolve and meet stakeholder needs.
- Own driving implementation of global standards and process for FME, supporting the Head, Global FME: Address key region and global stakeholder issues related to implemented global processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve core processes in MA Standards for FME based on qualitative feedback and metrics analysis. Serve as business lead for process improvement initiatives related to subject area.
- Actively promote a culture of continuous improvement through the development and roll out of training programs; and drives a coaching discipline that engenders a culture of excellence and medical value in field medical activities.
- Responsible for the coordination and worldwide consistency of field medical activities and reporting.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Extensive experience in industry and functional areas.
- Proven experience in stakeholder facing role or operational support of stakeholder facing role(s): Medical Science Liaison/Field Team Lead/FME Lead.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to coordinate multiple initiatives and ensure timely delivery.
- Deep understanding of healthcare landscape and demonstrated ability to think innovatively and adapt strategies to evolving stakeholder needs.
- Strong analytical skills to assess qualitative feedback and metrics for process/quality improvement.
Education/Qualifications:
Minimum bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in science or health-related field is required.

- This is a 2-year, fixed-term contract
- This is located in our UK office (Addlestone).
- This position is on-site. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
