The Opportunity:
As a Medical Affairs Operations Lead, you will be accountable for leading and delivering operational and project management activities for assigned Astellas pipeline assets and business development projects. You will work closely with the Medical Affairs Lead to provide strategic direction and ensure the execution of Medical Affairs tactics on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive effective operational and project management activities across all aspects of the Global Medical Affairs New Product Planning (NPP) team.
- Work closely with the Medical Affairs NPP leads to generate strategy and execute the tactical plan that supports the medical strategy across various diseases areas.
- Work closely with the Medical Affairs NPP leads to ensure effective execution of Medical Affairs tactics that support the medical strategy across various diseases areas.
- Monitor and report on timelines, budgets, resources, and risks related to all MA NPP activities.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and development of new operational processes.
- Close collaboration with cross functional team including, Research, Development, Commercial NPP, Market Access to ensure full and timely implementation and execution of MA sponsored activities related to MA NPP Team, Medical Affairs Plan, and integrated plans.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure high-quality deliverables that adhere to global standards and regulations.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Extensive pharmaceutical industry experience.
- In-depth knowledge of global drug development and product lifecycle management processes.
- Strong project management, operations, budget management and business analysis experience.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills that lead to change.
- A proactive mindset focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Fluency in English with strong written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent.
- Extensive Pharmaceutical industry experience.
Additional Information:
- This is a permanent, full-time position.
- This position is based in Poland.
- This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 1 day per quarter in our Warsaw office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Role may require up to 30% travel.
