About Astellas:

At Astellas we are a progressive health partner, delivering value and outcomes where needed.

We pursue innovative science, focusing initially on the areas of greatest potential and then developing solutions where patient need is high, often in rare or under-served disease areas and in life-threatening or life-limiting diseases and conditions.

We work directly with patients, doctors and health care professionals on the front line to ensure patient and clinical needs are guiding our development activities at every stage.

Our global vision for Patient Centricity is to support the development of innovative health solutions through a deep understanding of the patient experience. At Astellas, Patient Centricity isn’t a buzzword - it’s a guiding principle for action. We believe all staff have a role to play in creating a patient-centric culture and integrating an awareness of the patient into our everyday working practices, regardless of our role, team or division.

We work closely with regulatory authorities and payers to find new ways to ensure access to new therapies. We deliver the latest insights and real-world evidence to inform the best decisions for patients and their care-givers, to ensure the medicines we develop continue to provide meaningful outcomes.

Beyond medicines, we support our stakeholder communities to drive initiatives that improve awareness, education, access and ultimately standards of care.

The Opportunity:

In this role, you’ll help bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, playing a key part in delivering innovative SAP IBP capabilities at Astellas. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to design and implement end-to-end planning solutions, using your mix of business insight, technical skills, and analytical thinking.
You’ll be joining a company that values both agility and individual development. With a hybrid work setup based in Poland, you’ll enjoy the flexibility to focus while also connecting in person when it matters. This is a great opportunity to take ownership, stay at the forefront of digital planning, and grow in a role where your impact is truly visible.

Hybrid Working:

At Astellas we recognise the importance of balancing your work and home life, so we offer a hybrid working solution allowing time to connect with colleagues in person at the office alongside the flexibility to work from home; optimising the most productive work environment for you to succeed and deliver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You translate complex business needs into actionable technical specifications for SAP IBP, ensuring solutions align with both user goals and system architecture.
  • You collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT, acting as a trusted liaison to drive clarity, consensus, and value-driven outcomes.
  • You lead or support the design and configuration of integrated planning solutions, leveraging your hands-on knowledge of IBP modules and best practices.
  • You contribute to testing and quality assurance, making sure developed solutions meet performance, usability, and compliance standards.
  • You document key insights, technical setups, and user training materials to support adoption and continuous improvement.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Previous work experience in SAP IBP configuration, including Demand Planning, S&OP, Inventory Optimization, and Control Tower — ideally in full end-to-end implementation projects.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate across international teams.
  • Deep understanding of planning algorithms, heuristics, and forecasting methods within the IBP landscape.
  • Strong technical skills in CPI-DS, SAP BTP, and hands-on experience with key figure modeling, planning area setup, and master data configuration.
  • Solid grasp of Agile project methodologies, with the ability to operate independently and flexibly in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and its integration with SAP IBP for supply and sourcing.
  • Knowledge of FIORI apps, reporting, and analytics within the SAP ecosystem.
  • Experience mentoring users or leading blueprint/design workshops in a regulated (GxP) environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent.

Additional information:

  • This is a permanent, full-time position.
  • Position is based in Poland, in our Warsaw office.
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 1 day per quarter in our Warsaw office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
