The Opportunity:

As a Specialist Global Business Operations, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and tracking Procure to Pay (P2P) activities, ensuring that engagements and tactics are initiated according to agreed timelines. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance communication and contribute to process improvements, all while being part of a team dedicated to improving lives through innovative healthcare solutions. Your work will directly impact patient care and the efficiency of our operations.

Key Activities for this role:

  • Lead end-to-end activities associated with P2P systems processes, ensuring timely adherence to Astellas policies.
  • Manage contract and purchase order activities, including progress tracking and addressing stakeholder inquiries.
  • Serve as a change agent and subject matter expert for systems and processes, collaborating on improvements and resolving issues.
  • Create and maintain internal reports related to contracts, purchase orders, and invoices for the department.
  • Build and nurture cross-functional relationships with Finance, Procurement, and Legal to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Significant experience in pharmaceutical or related industry contracts, outsourcing, or clinical development.
  • Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in analytical skills, administrative tasks, and multiple systems, including spreadsheet software.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a global matrix environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in a cross-cultural environment and/or with outsourced partners.
  • Familiarity with facilitating business change in P2P or other operational processes.

Educations/Qualifications:

  • MS Degree or equivalent.

Additional Information:

  • Type of role full-time permanent.
  • Location Poland office (Warsaw).
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. The role requires a blend of home and minimum 1 day per quarter in our local office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
